Configure - Inventory Flow

WooCommerce Inventory flows take care of exporting inventory for the items from NetSuite to WooCommerce.


DataFlow 1: Inventory Mass Update – Add / Update Inventory from NetSuite to WooCommerce

This flow will update the inventory for all the items from NetSuite to WooCommerce.

Part A: Setting the integrator.io side of things –

Steps to configure flow:  –

  1. Login to integrator.io.
  2. Click on WooCommerce – NetSuite Integration App
  3. Click on the Settings → Inventory tab and select the required saved search. Also, make sure to select the correct inventory locations (can select multiple if applicable).

  4. Below are the required flow mappings. Allow back orders mapping is defaulted to ‘do not allow’ but the user can change it if needed.

PART B: Configuring the NetSuite side of things

Steps to configure saved search:

  1. Type: novamodule WooCommerce Inventory Export in the Global Search in NetSuite.
  2. Edit it and add the below fields in the criteria.

  3. Go to the results tab and add the required fields if not there.

DataFlow 2: Inventory – Add / Update Inventory from NetSuite to WooCommerce

This flow utilizes the same search and mappings as the Mass update flow with the only difference that it sends only the recent Inventory adjustments in NetSuite. It runs on NetSuite Item Filter: LastQuantityChangeAvailable.

Note:Both flow DF1 and DF2 use the same saved search to update the inventory from NetSuite to WooCommerce.

DataFlow 3: Kit Inventory – Add / Update Kit Inventory from NetSuite to WooCommerce

This flow will update the inventory for KIT/Package items from NetSuite to WooCommerce if these items are existing as a simple product in WooCommerce.

Steps to configure flow:

  1. Login to integrator.io
  2. Click on WooCommerce – NetSuite Integration App

Click on the Settings → Inventory tab and select the required saved search. Also, make sure to select the correct inventory locations (can select multiple if applicable).

PART B:
Configuring the NetSuite side of things

Steps to configure saved search:

  1. Type: novamodule WooCommerce Kit Inventory Export in the Global Search in NetSuite.
  2. Edit it and add the below fields in the criteria. Also, make sure to select the correct values for location field.

  3. Go to the results tab and make sure to have the below fields in the saved search. Update the saved search if needed to your requirements.

DataFlow 4: Item ID Mass Update – Update WooCommerce Item ID from WooCommerce to NetSuite

This flow will try to find the SKU match between the WooCommerce SKU field in WooCommerce and the item name/number field in NetSuite and then write back the WooCommerce item IDs for all your WooCommerce items to NetSuite.

You can follow the below steps and select the appropriate SKU field in NetSuite that matches with WooCommerce SKU (in the last screenshot).

1. How to manage backorders in IO?

Setting IO side of things:

NOTE:This is applicable for flows 1, 2 & 3

Go to the inventory flow mappings → Click on the settings icon for the Allow Backorders field

In the default value, you can give the following values
yes → to allow backorders
no → to do not allow backorders
notify → to set Allow but notify the customer
