WooCommerce product flows take care of adding/updating the products from Netsuite to WooCommerce.
DataFlow 1: Items – Add / Update Items from NetSuite to WooCommerce
This flow will add/update the items as a simple product from NetSuite to WooCommerce.
Part A: Setting the integrator.io side of things
Steps to configure flow:
- Login to integrator.io
- Click on WooCommerce – NetSuite Integration App
- Click on the Settings → Product tab and please select the below saved search
- Click on mappings and add the required fields in the mappings which are added to the saved search and map it to the corresponding mappings on the WooCommerce side.
PART B:Configuring the NetSuite side of things
Steps to configure saved search:
- Type: novamodule WooCommerce item Export in the Global Search in NetSuite.
- Edit it and add the required Price Level in the criteria. Also, make sure the item has all the below fields.
- In the results tab, add the required item fields that you need to export from NetSuite to WooCommerce.
DataFlow 2: Matrix Items – Add / Update Items from NetSuite to WooCommerce
This flow will add/update the Matrix type items from NetSuite to WooCommerce.
Part A:Setting the integrator.io side of things
Steps to configure flow:
- Login to integrator.io
- Click on WooCommerce – NetSuite Integration App
- Click on the Settings → Product tab and please select the below saved search. Make sure to add the correct Matrix Item Options from the saved search.
- Click on mappings and add the required fields in the mappings which are added to the saved search and map it to the corresponding mappings on the WooCommerce side.
PART B:Configure the NetSuite side of things
Steps to configure saved search:
- Type: novamodule WooCommerce Matrix item Export in the Global Search in NetSuite.
- Edit it and add the required Price Level in the criteria and make sure the item matches all the below criteria.
- In the results tab, make sure to add the Variable attributes/Matrix options that are used to create the variable products in WooCommerce.
NOTE: The Matrix Option label in the saved search should match with your WooCommerce attribute name if they are already created in WooCommerce else it creates a new attribute.
DataFlow 3: Item Price Mass Update – Add/Update Item price from NetSuite to WooCommerce
This flow will update only item prices from NetSuite to WooCommerce for already existing items in both NetSuite and WooCommerce.

Steps to configure flow: –
- Login to integrator.io
- Click on WooCommerce – NetSuite Integration App
- Click on the Settings → Product tab and please select the below saved search. Also, make sure to select the price level field (this can also be used for all the above flows as well).

Steps to configure saved search:
- Type: novamodule WooCommerce item Price Mass Export in the Global Search in NetSuite.
- Edit it and add the required Price Level in the criteria. Make sure the item has all the below fields.
- Under the results tab, see the below item fields.
DataFlow 4: Item ID Update – Update WooCommerce Item ID from WooCommerce to NetSuite.
This flow will update the WooCommerce item IDs from WooCommerce to NetSuite in real-time when new items are added from NetSuite to WooCommerce by the 1st and 2nd data flows.

You do not need any additional configuration for this flow, you can directly turn on this flow.
DataFlow 5: Images – Add / Update Item Images from NetSuite to WooCommerce.
This flow will export the images from NetSuite to WooCommerce.

Steps to configure flow:
- Login to integrator.io
- Click on WooCommerce – NetSuite Integration App
- Click on the Settings → Product tab and go to the Images tab. Please select the below saved search.
PART B: Configuring the NetSuite side of things
Steps to configure saved search: –
- Type: novamodule WooCommerce Images Export in the Global Search in NetSuite.
- In order to export the Images from NetSuite to WooCommerce, you need to update all the image URLs on all the items in the below fields.
- On the item record, go to the Nova WooCommerce tab.
- You can find the below tab and click on the New WooCommerce Images id Map.
- You need to update all the images in the below ‘NetSuite Image URL’ field for all the items and after exporting those images by image export flow, it will write back the WooCommerce Image IDs to NetSuite in the WooCommerce Image ID column.
- This setup will help in avoiding duplicate images in WooCommerce since it writes back the WooCommerce Image IDs to NetSuite.
- In the saved search, go to criteria and have the below item fields.
- In the results tab, have the below item fields.
DataFlow 6: Item Categories – Add / Update from WooCommerce to NetSuite
This flow will import all the item categories from WooCommerce to NetSuite.
Part A: In IO, you can directly run the flow to import the categories to NetSuite.
PART B: Configuring the NetSuite side of things
- In NetSuite, on any item record, go to the Nova WooCommerce tab and select WooCommerce item Categories and you can find the complete list of categories that are imported from WooCommerce to NetSuite and you can select the categories from that list.
- You can see the selected categories in the item export or Matrix export saved searches.
- You need to add the below categories mapping in the item export/Matrix export flow in order to export the categories from NetSuite to WooCommerce.
USE CASES:
1.How to add the meta data fields for the products in IO?
Setting IO side of things:
- In WooCommerce, on the product data, go to ‘meta_data’ fields and copy the meta_data.key field. Ex: _wc_avatax_code
- Add the field in the product flow mappings similar to the below meta_data[0].key mapping
Setting NetSuite side of things:
- In NetSuite, go to the item export saved search that you are using and in the results tab, make sure to add the item field. Ex: UPC Code
- For the meta_data[0].value, map the UPC Code field from the saved search.
2. How to ignore updating an item field if it is empty in NetSuite?
In IO, go to the product flow mappings → select the item field that you want to ignore(Ex: Sales Description) → Click the “Discard if empty” checkbox and save it.
