Flow 1: Create Payout Summary Record
- Get Payouts (Stripe export). Exports payouts from Stripe since the last successful export.
- Create Payout Summary Record (NetSuite import). Creates one Payout Summary record per Stripe payout. It is the parent of all related payout transactions and links them through the JE process.
- Get Manual Payout Balance Transactions (Stripe lookup). Checks whether the payout is manual. If so, its transaction details are retrieved.
- Import Payout Transactions. Creates a NovaApps Payout Transaction record for each manual-payout transaction, linked to its Payout Summary.
- Trigger Transaction Import. Starts Flow 2.
Manual vs. automatic payouts. Step 3 only returns records for manual payouts. For automatic payouts it returns nothing, Step 4 is skipped, and Flow 2 is triggered directly.
Flow 2: Create Payout Transaction Records
Receives the payout from Flow 1, retrieves its balance transactions from Stripe, and creates a NovaApps Payout Transaction record for each one. Each record stores the balance transaction ID, amount, net amount, fee amount, currency, type, status, dates, source transaction ID, and category. Fee details are stored on the record's fee sublist.
Example: a $50.00 payment with a $1.75 Stripe fee creates a record with Total Amount $50.00, Net Amount $48.25, Total Fee $1.75, Type Payment, Currency USD.
When processing finishes, the Payout Summary is set to Ready.
Flow 3: Create Transaction Summary
For each payout in Ready status without a transaction summary, this flow groups its transactions by type and totals the Gross Amount, Net Amount, Fees, Variance, and Transaction Count. The results are saved as lines on the Payout Summary's NovaApps Payout Transaction Summary sublist, and the payout is marked as summarized.

Flow 4: Create Fee Summary
Groups Stripe fees (amounts greater than 0) by fee type and saves one line per type on the NovaApps Payout Fee Summary sublist. The payout is marked as fee-summarized and advanced to the next stage. Each line's Fee Name combines the fee type and payout ID, for example Stripe Fee : po_1R1abcd12345.
Example: two Stripe Fee records of $2.50 and $1.50 become one summary of $4.00 (count: 2).
